When hardwood floors have been wet for more than a few
hours, cupping, bowing, and other warping will probably
occur. Our technicians lay plastic panels and secure
them to the floor, making a close-to-airtight seal;
the machine then uses suction to create a flow of air
through the layers of wood that make up your floor.
While some abnormalities of shape will remain, the use
of this machine can usually keep them small enough that
sanding and refinishing the floors will return them to
their original state.
Here, you can see the setup along with a large refrigerant
dehumidifier in the background.
